We feel like we have fallen upon the second coming of Kate Bush in discovering London singer Grace Lightman. Surely she must have heard the comparison before, and either be sick of it or be maximising on it, but with her high range and floaty intonation there is an uncanny similarity. How could that be a bad thing though - and Lightman certainly has strengths of her own. Her new single 'Faultless' is beautifully crafted and brittle with deep-rooted emotions. The choral harmonies peak in the correct moments underneath her soaring notes to create a grandiosity rarely seen these days. With something classic about her, Grace Lightman is a class act. - SJ
